Are you a skilled and innovative electrical engineer looking for a challenging role that combines design, development, and collaboration? We're seeking a dedicated Signature Management Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Signature Management Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge equipment while ensuring its seamless integration and functionality. No previous experience in signature management is required.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Help lead the design and development efforts for new equipment, using your expertise to craft innovative solutions that meet our high standards for quality and performance.
- Product Enhancement: Contribute to the improvement of existing products by providing insightful modifications and updates, thereby ensuring our offerings remain at the forefront of technology.
- Technical Specifications: Create comprehensive technical specifications, conduct thorough analysis, and define rigorous testing requirements that underpin the design process.
- Support During Build: Offer hands-on support during the build process, ensuring that your designs are translated into functional equipment accurately.
- System Integration and Testing: Lead the charge in system integration, meticulously testing and accepting the equipment to guarantee its reliability and efficacy.
- Collaboration: Foster strong collaborations with suppliers and sub-contractors, maintaining open lines of communication to ensure the seamless progression of projects.
Experience needed:
- A minimum of a HND in electrical engineering is required, providing you with the foundational knowledge necessary to excel in this role.
- Possess a broad knowledge of various engineering disciplines, including systems and mechanical engineering, enriching your ability to contribute effectively across the spectrum.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, enabling you to collaborate seamlessly within your team and effectively interact with colleagues from diverse disciplines.
- Bring a meticulous attention to detail to the table, ensuring that every aspect of your designs is thoroughly considered and executed.
- Showcase a profound understanding of best practices in design lifecycle processes, from gated design phases to design reviews, guaranteeing the highest quality outcomes.
- Display confidence in customer-facing interactions, readily delivering presentations and engaging with clients to showcase the value of our solutions and products
Desirable:
- Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous
- Experience in the Naval / Maritime domain would be advantageous.
- Previous experience in signature management
