Job description

Job Title: Fly Press Operator
Location: Titchfield, UK

Our client operates a fuel systems site in Titchfield and is currently seeking an individual to join their Fuels department to manage Fly Press operations.

In aerospace manufacturing, a Fly Press Operator typically works with machinery called a fly press. A fly press is a type of mechanical press used for a variety of operations such as punching, bending, and forming metal components.

The responsibilities of a Fly Press Operator in aerospace may include:

  • Operating the fly press to perform specific manufacturing operations on aerospace components.
  • Setting up and adjusting the press according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Monitoring the production process to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the press.
  • Following safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Use of a guillotine to cut the material to size to fit the various press tools.

Pay: PAYE + Holiday Pay

  • £15.76 per hour, rising to £16.24 after 12 weeks.
  • Overtime pay at x1.5 rate.
  • Sundays pay at x2 rate.

Hours: (37 per week)
7:30am - 4:15pm (Monday to Thursday)
7.30am - 11.30am (Friday)


  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • Adherence to ITAR restrictions.
