Our client, a well-established company in the rail industry, is currently seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager. This role requires a strong background in rail projects, with a specific focus on electrification and communications. As an M&E Project Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing multiple projects and managing sub-contractors. An electrical bias is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a range of M&E projects
• Coordinate and liaise with sub-contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards
• Monitor project progress, identify any issues or risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including design and engineering teams, to ensure smooth project execution
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management
• Contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes and best practices
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction

Job Requirements

• Significant experience in M&E project management, preferably within the rail industry
• Strong understanding of rail electrification and communications systems
• Proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
• Sound knowledge of project management methodologies and practices
• Electrical bias and relevant qualifications are essential
• Highly organised, with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
