Job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. As an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that machinery, equipment, and facilities are operating at an optimal level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow the planned maintenance schedule to ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities meet the required standards
• Perform both planned and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Analyze major breakdowns and implement root cause analysis
• Implement solutions to prevent machinery and process issues from reoccurring

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in machine maintenance
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Time-served in a manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on approach
• Must have own tools

This role is based on a weekly rotating shift, working from 6am - 2pm and then 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday. The position is outside IR35, offering competitive rates.
