Job description

Our client, a leading company in the Rail Communications sector, is currently seeking an experienced SISS Design Engineer/CRE to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of (SISS) within the rail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and configure SISS systems in accordance with project requirements
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Attend meetings with clients, management, sub-contractors and internal teams.
• Create detailed design documentation, including system schematics and layouts
• Liaise with telecoms technicians and design, install and test staff, and additional collaboration with signalling design and installation teams.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to project teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or faults that arise during the design and implementation process
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in SISS design and engineering
• Expertise in Public Address Systems and CCTV, PHP, CIS, Network protocols and Telecommunication Infrastructures.
• Telecoms design experience - as a CRE
