Job description

Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, is actively seeking a dedicated Quality Auditor to support the maintenance and enhancement of their Quality Management System (QMS) and to collaborate closely with the Safety Management System (SMS) Manager. This role is pivotal in upholding the high standards required within the aerospace industry and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the Company Quality Management System (QMS)
• Assisting the SMS Manager with risk assessments and the implementation of safety improvement projects
• Maintaining company approvals and compliance with aerospace standards
• Conducting thorough audits in accordance with relevant regulations
• Hosting and managing interactions with regulatory groups such as CAA and MAA, approval bodies like BSi, and customer auditors

Job Requirements:

• Proven audit skills, with significant experience in the aerospace industry
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and Safety Management Systems
• Ability to manage and implement risk assessments and safety projects
• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively hosting and managing regulatory groups and customer auditors
