Our client, a premier player in the Oil & Gas sector, is looking for a Project Engineering Manager to oversee complex engineering projects. This pivotal role focuses on utilising engineering resources effectively, ensuring all project goals are met efficiently while upholding high standards of engineering and design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise engineering resource requirements to execute projects with maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure thorough understanding among engineers regarding the project's scope, design basis, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate engineering and design interfaces between internal teams and external project or supply chain partners.
• Lead essential project meetings such as progress, risk reduction, and cost report meetings, and oversee multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Generate regular reports on engineering delivery performance for senior project management.
• Maintain a commercial focus, challenge project scope creep and ensure scope protection.
• Implement and uphold company engineering delivery processes across projects for optimal outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate key project risks promptly, escalating critical issues as needed.
• Ensure all engineering services adhere to client and corporate governance standards and obtain necessary approvals.
• Build cohesive and supportive project teams through effective communication, trust, and team development strategies.

Job Requirements:

• Robust experience in engineering management, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale engineering projects.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Experience in coordinating and leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex project requirements.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations
