Our client, a front-runner in the nuclear sector, is actively seeking a Senior Design Engineer to provide expert support in facility design. This pivotal role will ensure that utilities, infrastructure, engineering processes, equipment, and facilities are compliant with all relevant legislation and standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive designs for the Facility Design Authority (FDA) ensuring maximum compliance with legislative and standard requirements.
• Work collaboratively within multi-discipline groups to produce and innovate designs across various stages of asset life.
• Maintain and promote exceptional personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality.
• Play an integral role in maintaining a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislative and standard documentation associated with design engineering.
• Utilise expertise to verify that designs meet stringent compliance prerequisites for nuclear and high hazard facilities.

Job Requirements:

• SC Clearance
• Proven proficiency in electrical design within the nuclear or similar highly regulated industry.
• Extensive knowledge of legislation and standards applicable to engineering design.
• Strong capability for working effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Demonstrable experience with high standards in health and safety, security, and quality protocols.
• Excellent team collaboration abilities.
