Job description
Our client, a leading company within the aerospace sector, is seeking a Business Improvement & Compliance Analyst to join their team. The role will be part of a new team responsible for the transition into new hangar facilities, with a focus on ensuring regulatory compliance. If you have a background in quality, compliance, or six sigma/lean and are eager to grow within a highly regulated process environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate root causes of audit findings, quality escapes, non-conformances, Maintenance Occurrence Reports, and safety reports.
- Define means to return to compliance with stakeholders, implement corrective actions, and measure success.
- Ensure health, safety, and regulatory standards are maintained.
- Define competency and training programmes for the Operations team.
- Implement process improvements and workplace standardisation in line with 5S standards.
Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Negotiation level proficiency in English.
- Ability to solve problems and identify root causes through data analysis.
- Excellent G Suite skills.
- Structured and proactive approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented mindset.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry such as aerospace, nuclear, defence, or healthcare.
- Understanding of Safety Management and Quality Management Systems.
- Strong programme management skills.
- Experience in conducting root cause analysis investigations.
Education, Qualifications or Training:
Essential:
- Degree-level qualification in engineering, aerospace or operations management.
Desirable:
- Understanding of EASA, CAA, or military equivalent Part 145 and Part CAMO regulations.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt qualification.
