Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence sector, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team in Barrow. This is a contract position for a duration of 12 months and offers a unique opportunity to work within a highly specialised and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the delivery of complex defence projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Coordinating and managing project tasks and schedules to ensure timely delivery
• Maintaining clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients and team members
• Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure successful project execution
• Providing regular progress reports and updates to senior management
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant security requirements and protocols
• Leading and motivating project teams to achieve project goals and objectives

Job Requirements:

• Experience in project management within the Defence sector
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a highly secure environment
• Security Clearance: SC (UK Eyes only)
• Full-time availability onsite in Barrow for the contract duration
