Job description

1. Teams of five
2. Multidiscipline teams to provide.
1. Tooling design for jigs, fixtures and rigs.
2. Process mapping.
3. Family tree of component X which drills down into its main sub-assemblies, sub sub-assemblies all the way down to individual components.
4. All the components and sub-assemblies need jigs, fixtures and rigs, but needs mapping out too, hence process mapping.
5. About 10,000 tools x 3 lots.
6. Tools to be optioneered, prototype built using latest technologies and trialled.
7. Tools to be option appraised and deselected down to best jigs, fixtures and rigs.
8. Requirement to be demonstrated as being met.
9. Design tools and manufacture for final testing.
10. All work onsite, 4 days a week (Mon to Thur)
11. Team Centre beneficial but not essential
12. NX Siemens beneficial for CAD technicians
