Job description

Our client, a leading company in the water infrastructure sector, is currently seeking a Senior Site Manager / Construction Manager to join their team. This is a contract role based in Scunthorpe, offering 12 - 18 months' worth of work, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a team of workers on-site.
• Ensure that projects are completed to schedule and within budget.
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
• Monitor progress, quality, and productivity of the team.
• Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Provide guidance and support to team members.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Delivery / Framework Manager.

Project Details:

• The project duration is 12-18 months + on a freelance basis.
• Start Date ASAP.

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience as a Site Agent / Site Manager / Construction Manager.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure projects - specifically water pipelines/Tunnelling.
• Ability to run all work site and ensure deadlines are met.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Report any issues direct to the Project Manager
• SMSTS ticket is essential.

Experience:

Experience of working in a tunnelling/pipeline environment, preferable water. With knowledge of deep excavation and shaft sinking methods along with experience of working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team

Contract Details:

This is a contract position offering competitive rates of £350.00 - £400.00 per shift CIS.
