Our client, a prominent business within the marine and engineering sector, is offering a contract opportunity for a team of Platers to join their busy workshop team based in Glasgow.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fabricating tasks to manufacture steel structures and components
• Following technical drawings and specifications to ensure precision and quality
• Working with a range of metals and materials
• Ensuring all work meets safety standards and regulations
• Collaborating with other trades and team members to achieve project goals

Job Requirements:

• Experience in fabricating within the marine or other heavy industries
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team
• Commitment to safety and quality standards

Contract length - Initially until Mid October and will then be reviewed inline with their forecast on upcomng projects

Rate - £23/h Standard 40 hours, £34.50/h Overtime.

OT is being worked at least 2 nights week, with a good chance of additional OT on top of this
