Job description

Job Purpose: Responsible for executing engineering projects to meet contractual obligations, professional standards, and statutory requirements under the supervision of the Principal Traffic Engineer.

Main Duties:

• Financial: Prepare financial estimates, monitor project expenditure, and adhere to budgetary limits.
• Professional: Assist in contract preparation, manage day-to-day responsibilities, ensure professional execution of engineering work, and meet specifications and performance targets.
• Managerial: Supervise junior staff, handle correspondence, report writing, and public engagement.
• Miscellaneous: Promote council policies on equality, customer care, and environmental practices; comply with health and safety legislation; manage data entry and processing.
