Job description

Our local authority client, is seeking a dedicated Building Control Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis for a period of 6 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards across various projects in the Oxfordshire area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting site visits to inspect construction work and ensure compliance with building regulations
• Undertaking plan checks and providing feedback on building control submissions
• Advising on building control issues and resolving any non-compliance matters
• Collaborating with contractors, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports on site inspections
• Providing technical guidance and support to the team and external parties
