Job description


Our client, a prominent entity in the water sector, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers the chance to work on innovative water projects and contribute significantly to their successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the planning and execution of water-related engineering projects
  • Coordinating and managing project schedules, resources, and budgets
  • Providing technical support and guidance on mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality
  • Preparing and reviewing technical reports, proposals, and documentation
  • Implementing health and safety protocols across project sites

Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in project engineering within the water sector
  • Strong mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electrical engineering skills
  • Understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a bilingual environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
