Job description


Our client, a prominent player in the water business sector, is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager (SEW) to join their team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work closely under a Senior Project Manager, focusing on significant projects within the water industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Senior Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Managing project milestones and deliverables in the areas of Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, and Civil disciplines.
  • Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Overseeing project documentation and ensuring all contractual requirements are met.
  • Providing technical input and coordinating activities related to MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) works.
  • Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders to report on project progress and resolve issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all project stages.
  • Identifying opportunities for project scope and process improvements.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in the water sector, with a strong understanding of Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, and Civil engineering aspects.
  • Proficient in managing multiple disciplines, ideally with a background in MEICA and Civil works.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to manage team dynamics and stakeholder relations.
  • Ability to work under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager and demonstrate progression capability.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations within the industry.
