Job description
Our client, a prominent player in the water business sector, is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager (SEW) to join their team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work closely under a Senior Project Manager, focusing on significant projects within the water industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Senior Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Managing project milestones and deliverables in the areas of Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, and Civil disciplines.
- Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration.
- Overseeing project documentation and ensuring all contractual requirements are met.
- Providing technical input and coordinating activities related to MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) works.
- Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders to report on project progress and resolve issues.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all project stages.
- Identifying opportunities for project scope and process improvements.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in the water sector, with a strong understanding of Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, and Civil engineering aspects.
- Proficient in managing multiple disciplines, ideally with a background in MEICA and Civil works.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to manage team dynamics and stakeholder relations.
- Ability to work under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager and demonstrate progression capability.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations within the industry.
