My Client is recruiting for an Electrical CAD / Design Engineer/Drafts Person in the Water Sector

The Designer will need to understand electrical drawings, device datasheets and be able to generate design documentation from scratch.

The Designers will be supplied would be suppled instrument schedules and sketches on intended layouts for the drawings from the Electrical Engineers and work from there.

The successful applicant needs to be able to manage their own time and drive the onsite personal to provide the relevant information to them within a timely manner.

Direct tasks / deliverables.

• Single line diagrams
• Block cable diagrams
• Cable schedules
• Earthing schematics
• Panel schematics
• Lighting Designs (DiaLUX models)

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering qualification degree/HNC/HND or similar
• Experience of AMTECH calculations and models (LV only)
• Understanding Mechanical P&ID's
• Understanding Mechanical layouts (isolator back boards, kiosk layouts, electrical stands, etc).
• Ideally Water Sector experience
• Full UK driving licence and ideally own transport
