Our client, is currently seeking a Highway Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity is situated within a London Borough, involving critical maintenance and development projects in the highway sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and managing highway maintenance and development projects
• Conducting site investigations and assessments for highway projects
• Collaborating with contractors and internal teams to ensure effective project delivery
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Providing technical advice and support for highway-related issues
• Identifying and implementing improvements to the highway network
• Preparing detailed reports and documentation
• Monitoring and evaluating the quality of work performed by contractors
