Job description
Our client, a prominent contractor within the site investigation and engineering sector, is seeking a committed Ground Investigation Project Manager to join their dynamic team based in Doncaster. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing ground investigation projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and budget targets are met
- Overseeing site operations to collect data and assess ground conditions
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop efficient and effective geotechnical solutions
- Maintaining client relationships through effective communication and project management
- Preparing and delivering detailed technical reports and project documentation
- Providing leadership and mentoring to junior team members and site engineers
- Implementing health, safety, and environmental protocols on all project sites
- Monitoring project performance and ensuring timely delivery of milestones
Job Requirements:
- Experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on ground investigation
- Proficiency in managing and leading projects in a cross-sector environment
- Understanding of geotechnical data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- A degree in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology
- Experience in project management or a high-level site agent role
