Job description

Job Title - GRP Finisher
Location - Poole, Dorset
Work Hours Available Day Shift: 7:00am - 15.30pm Monday to Friday

Introduction
Our partner, Sunseeker International, are looking to hire experienced local GRP Finishers to join their team in Poole. Join Sunseeker, and you'll play a key role in building luxury motor yachts which are recognisable across the world.

The employer has a wide range of opportunities including skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled positions.

Sunseeker are mainly looking for day shift workers, but night shifts are occasionally available if this is what you're looking for.

Pay Rates on offer

• £14.00 per hour PAYE (Semi-Skilled)
• £15.05-£16.05 per hour PAYE (Skilled)
• £20.06 per hour - £21.40 per hour PAYE (Nights)
• Overtime paid at increased rates

What you'll be doing
As a GRP Finisher at Sunseeker, you'll be based at one of our manufacturing sites in Poole - either Sunseeker Shipyard, or Sunseeker Willis Way.

You'll have the opportunity to work across the vast majority of our boat lines, as you finish and repair GRP structures, and prepare and release moulds of different sizes. Working as part of a small specialist team, you'll help us deliver on the production goals set out, while maintaining a high standard of quality throughout as part of our trademark Sunseeker quality promise.

Sunseeker boats often include unrivalled levels of customer variation, so you'll get to see a wide variety of different jobs across your work as a boat builder.

Who Sunseeker are looking for
Sunseeker are looking for a mixture of skilled and semi skilled Finishers to join their growing team. You may already be experienced in either car body repair work, or have experience directly within the marine industry.

Sunseeker are looking for someone who:

• Understands and follows the Health and Safety regulations for GRP materials and their use
• Strives to achieve a high standard of work whilst maintaining a thorough and detailed process
• Has a patient and positive attitude, with a desire to pursue excellence in their work
