Our client, a pioneering technology consultancy, is currently seeking a Lead Solution Architect to join their innovative team on a permanent basis. This role is a key position within the technology sector, focusing on data and cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading both internal and client teams, interacting daily with developers, architects, security teams, and engineers.
• Designing and implementing complex architectures to support multiple use cases within data platform ecosystems.
• Driving innovation and shaping the roadmaps for new and modernisation of Enterprise Data Analytics Architecture.
• Developing secure and scalable automated solutions, supporting the implementation of cloud-native architectures and services.
• Working on large enterprise projects with notable names in financial services, focusing on modern cloud-native architectures and federated data mesh solutions.
• Combining understanding of engineering, coding, and technical architecture to benefit projects.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in delivering robust technical solutions within the financial services market.
• Familiarity with building cloud federation (hybrid cloud) technical solutions.
• Experience with data solutions for operational, analytical, and machine learning use cases.
• Knowledge of encryption, data masking techniques, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Understanding of various machine learning concepts and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience with MLOps, including design, deployment, and management of ML models in production.
• Proven technical architecture experience and history of designing, engineering, and delivering distributed data platforms.
• Relevant industry certifications on Cloud platforms, such as Data Architect, Data Engineer or Data Scientist, preferred.

Additional Skills:

• Java Development, TDD, code reviews, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience using Apache Kafka, Spark, and Databricks platform.
• Knowledge of Cloud Data Services in Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Understanding of migration from OnPrem to Cloud and Cloud Native principles.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
