Job description

Our client, a leading provider in the technology sector, is currently seeking a Python Test Automation Lead to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate on the '01. RB SCRP & PSRA' project for NatWest Group, a prominent financial institution known for its innovative solutions and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function
• Implement quality processes, tools, and methodologies to improve control, accuracy, and integrity
• Develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy
• Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches through automation and innovative solutions
• Mentor and lead the testing team in adopting automation best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise areas for automation
• Evaluate and select appropriate testing tools and frameworks
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and contribute to decisions across multiple teams

Job Requirements:

• Expert proficiency in Python programming
• Significant experience in automation testing and test automation frameworks
• Understanding of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD)
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Ability to collaborate and make decisions across multiple teams
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in test automation
