Job description

Our client, a prominent player in the automotive sector, is seeking a skilled Product Inspection Engineer to join their permanent team. This role involves the use of advanced measuring technologies to support product performance validation and contribute to the development of new automotive products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections based on design specifications
• Create detailed reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Develop and improve inspection methods and measurement processes
• Calibrate and maintain equipment
• Ensure EH&S and Quality Management System compliance (IATF 16949)

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of dimensional metrology and precision engineering
• Experience with microscopes and 3D measurement systems
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specs

Additional Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of diesel common rail fuel injection systems
• Experience with surface measurement and standards
• Proficiency in 3D metrology software, preferably Polyworks

Education:

• Degree in engineering with relevant experience
• Master's degree in metrology or precision engineering is a plus
