Job description
In this role, the key responsibilities include taking ownership of multiple retail change projects from initiation to completion and developing and managing project plans, budgets, and timeliness. The individual will coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure projects are delivered within scope and budget. Regular project updates and reports will be provided to stakeholders. The role also involves driving the implementation of best practices and continuous process improvement, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and standards, and managing vendor relationships and third-party suppliers.
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in project management, preferably within the retail industry
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex programs
- experience influencing business change.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Relevant certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile, are highly desirable
