Job description

Our client is seeking multi-discipline Engineers to join their team on a contract basis, working within the nuclear sector. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate on projects involving concrete tanks and pumps, with a particular focus on lighting specialisms. Engineers with a background in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Control & Instrumentation (C&I) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering projects within the nuclear sector
• Providing expertise in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and C&I engineering disciplines
• Focusing on the design and implementation of lighting systems, with familiarity in Dialux being advantageous
• Working on pumps related to concrete tanks, ensuring all safety and technical standards are met
• Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
• Managing and supervising project activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
• Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams
• Maintaining and enhancing client relationships through effective communication and service delivery

Job Requirements:

• Experience in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or C&I engineering within the nuclear sector
• SC Clearance is essential
• Specialism in lighting engineering, with knowledge of Dialux being advantageous
• Strong understanding of pumps and concrete tank projects
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
