Our client is looking for multiple engineers from either a Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural or EC&I Background for some long term work on a Nuclear facility. Candidates must hold or be able to obtain SC Clearance.

Job description
Our client is seeking multi-discipline Engineers to join their team on a contract basis, working within the nuclear sector. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate on projects involving concrete tanks and pumps, with a particular focus on lighting specialisms. Engineers with a background in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Control & Instrumentation (C&I) are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering projects within the nuclear sector
- Providing expertise in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and C&I engineering disciplines
- Focusing on the design and implementation of lighting systems, with familiarity in Dialux being advantageous
- Working on pumps related to concrete tanks, ensuring all safety and technical standards are met
- Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
- Managing and supervising project activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams
- Maintaining and enhancing client relationships through effective communication and service delivery
Job Requirements:
- Experience in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or C&I engineering within the nuclear sector
- SC Clearance is essential
- Specialism in lighting engineering, with knowledge of Dialux being advantageous
- Strong understanding of pumps and concrete tank projects
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
