Job summary
Our client is a sub-contractor that's secured worked in CP7's Scottish framework. They are looking for a Senior Surveyor who has Track Monitoring experience.

Job description
Skills Required:
- Previous Senior level Surveyor experience (desirable)
- The ideal candidate will be well versed in all aspects of surveying, setting out engineering works.
- A good knowledge of processing software is expected. AutoCAD & LSS is preferred.
- Must be prepared to train other members of staff and be ready to take on a leadership-based role within the team.
- They will be expected to take on a lead surveyor role on any topographical surveys, QA processes and give instruction/advice on best practice to other surveyors, where required.
- Be capable of undertaking all aspects of setting out, can interpret drawings and confident in giving instruction to site teams.
- Willingness to undertake mentoring for other engineers when required.
- Confidence and knowledge in track monitoring processes and procedures is also a necessity for this role within the team.
- Will be able to assist with management duties on request.
- Senior level surveyor should also possess skills in other aspects of surveying, laser scanning/ drone works, 3d modelling, etc.
- Have the drive and the willingness to expand their own skillset to keep up to date with advances in technology and the digitalisation of the industry.
- Full UK driver's license.
