Job description

Skills Required:

• Previous Senior level Surveyor experience (desirable)
• The ideal candidate will be well versed in all aspects of surveying, setting out engineering works.
• A good knowledge of processing software is expected. AutoCAD & LSS is preferred.
• Must be prepared to train other members of staff and be ready to take on a leadership-based role within the team.
• They will be expected to take on a lead surveyor role on any topographical surveys, QA processes and give instruction/advice on best practice to other surveyors, where required.
• Be capable of undertaking all aspects of setting out, can interpret drawings and confident in giving instruction to site teams.
• Willingness to undertake mentoring for other engineers when required.
• Confidence and knowledge in track monitoring processes and procedures is also a necessity for this role within the team.
• Will be able to assist with management duties on request.
• Senior level surveyor should also possess skills in other aspects of surveying, laser scanning/ drone works, 3d modelling, etc.
• Have the drive and the willingness to expand their own skillset to keep up to date with advances in technology and the digitalisation of the industry.
• Full UK driver's license.
