Job description
This contract role is based in Halewood and offers an opportunity to contribute to state-of-the-art automotive engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes focused on automotive standards.
- Oversee the efficiency and quality of manufacturing operations.
- Design and procure necessary tooling within project budgets.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize production.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with automotive industry standards.
- Produce and keep up with documentation and reporting as per project needs.
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in the automotive sector.
- Understanding of production processes related to Injection Moulding, Paint, or Trim.
- Hands-on experience with designing, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team setup.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Contract Details:
- Immediate start.
- Minimum duration of 6 months, with a potential extension to 12 months.
