Job description

This contract role is based in Halewood and offers an opportunity to contribute to state-of-the-art automotive engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes focused on automotive standards.
• Oversee the efficiency and quality of manufacturing operations.
• Design and procure necessary tooling within project budgets.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize production.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with automotive industry standards.
• Produce and keep up with documentation and reporting as per project needs.

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in the automotive sector.
• Understanding of production processes related to Injection Moulding, Paint, or Trim.
• Hands-on experience with designing, testing, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team setup.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Contract Details:

• Immediate start.
• Minimum duration of 6 months, with a potential extension to 12 months.
