Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CAE Engineer to join our dynamic team working on a prestigious automotive hypercar project. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a strong background in body/chassis non-mechanical CAE analysis. You will be contributing to a cutting-edge project that is already 12 months into development, with a current extension of 6 months and a likely further extension of up to 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CAE analysis for the body and chassis components using Ansa and Abaqus software.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams to optimize component performance and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Provide detailed reports and presentations of CAE analysis results.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any CAE-related issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all analysis and simulations performed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAE analysis using Ansa and Abaqus.
  • Strong understanding of body and chassis engineering principles, particularly in the context of non-mechanical components.
  • Proven track record of working on automotive projects, ideally within the hypercar or high-performance vehicle sector.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Ability to work onsite in Leamington Spa, 5 days a week.

Additional Information:

  • The contract is outside IR35, providing flexibility and advantageous tax arrangements.
  • Our target turnaround for onboarding is 7 days, although current experiences suggest this is achievable within 10 days.
  • Candidates must be prepared for occasional holiday cover requirements to ensure continuous payment processing.

If you are a dedicated CAE Engineer with a passion for automotive innovation and meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you. Apply now to join a project that is pushing the boundaries of automotive engineering.
