Job description
Railway Telecoms Tester needed for testing and integration of telecoms systems on the railway in the Manchester and Leeds areas. This role focuses on integration, testing, and completing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for railway telecommunication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integration and testing of railway telecommunication systems
- Completion of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for telecommunications projects
- Ensuring thorough testing and validation processes for all telecom systems
- Utilising knowledge of Fixed Telecom Network (FTN) and Cisco systems
Job Requirements:
- Experience as a Telecoms Tester within the rail communications sector
- Certification as a Person in Charge of Testing (PICOT)
- Expertise in Fixed Telecom Network (FTN) and CISCO systems
- Hold a valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) certificate, ideally COSS
