Initial 6-Month Contract
Our client, a key player in the public sector, is currently seeking a Security Cleared Junior Ops Support professional for a contract position at the Home Office. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact within government operations.
Duties that they will be required to carry out on shift are as follows:
- Monitoring of PNC service and responding to service impacting alerts,
- Monitoring of Service Now queue and processing of INC's and Password requests to customers
- Running of weekly and monthly batch work for Forces and Law Agencies, Processing of ad hoc Batch work
- Re-setting of passwords for customers
- Monitoring of critical network alerts and ensuring encrypted data is successfully transmitted.
- Liaising with Incident Management, Service Desk, and technical teams

- Interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and professionally

- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and drive to follow tasks through to completion
- Maintaining customer focus
Desirable skills and experience:
- Performing a similar role within the Civil Service or at other organisations
- Understanding and / or experience of ITIL Service Management
- Understanding of Lean, Agile and DevOps principles within a Product-centric delivery model
Essential qualifications:
An understanding of Microsoft Suite, any previous customer service experience
Desirable qualifications:
Any previous monitoring experience
