Job description

This role can be Outside IR35

Hybrid working - 2 days pw on site.

Main Purpose of the Job:

Drawing activity for draughting injector and fuel pump drawings according to engineering requirements, and associated sub-components.

Main Tasks of the Job:

In this role you will:

• Deliver high-quality drawings for injectors, high-pressure fuel pumps, and associated sub-components to the specified requirements.
• Produce detailed drawings for test equipment as per specified standards.
• Create or modify 2D drawings and 3D models within the Siemens NX CAD package.
• Manage drawing data within Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
• Check drawings against standards and requirements, making necessary revisions.
• Drive output through the approval process to meet the agreed schedule.
• Identify and share process and drawing improvement opportunities with the broader team.
• Engage in self-improvement through the review process to thoroughly understand drawing standards and achieve right-first-time drawings.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency with 3D CAD.
• Experience with Siemens NX CAD and Teamcenter PLM.
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to produce high-quality drawings.
• Understanding of automotive engineering requirements and standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage workflow through approval processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements.
