Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting detailed ground investigations to gather geotechnical data
• Supervising drilling rigs and on-site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Logging boreholes accurately and efficiently, documenting findings and observations
• Collaborating with cross-sector teams to provide geotechnical insights and solutions
• Preparing comprehensive reports and presenting data analysis to internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site
• Maintaining high standards of data quality and accuracy throughout all phases of investigation
• Communicating effectively with clients and project managers to ensure successful project delivery

Job Requirements:

• Experience in geotechnical engineering or a closely related field
• Strong knowledge of ground investigation techniques and procedures
• Proficiency in supervising rig operations and conducting borehole logging
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in geotechnical operations
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Effective communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and clients
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
