An E&P CEM is required for a long term Framework across the South East of England.

You will be an experienced CEM and have worked across the South East on DC 3rd Rail and have managed multiple E&P Railway Construction Projects.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to our Engineering Delivery Managers, contributing to the successful delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Engineering Delivery Managers with project support activities.
• Developing and maintaining Engineering Management Plan(s) for specific programmes.
• Ensuring the utilisation of competent engineering resources, both in-house and external.
• Managing the delivery of in-house and subcontract designs, including design consultants.
• Supporting project teams in risk management, commercial issues, and compliance processes.
• Assisting in the appointment of design/engineering roles as required.
• Reviewing and advising on design briefs, structural investigations, surveys, and monitoring.
• Identifying and managing project interfaces, hazards, and temporary conditions.
• Providing designer liaison, including design review meetings and progressive assurance.
• Identifying stakeholder and discipline interfaces and reducing unnecessary risks.
• Participating in value engineering meetings and evaluating added value options.
• Providing construct-ability advice to permanent works and temporary works designers.
• Assisting in the development of design programmes and optimising construction activities.
• Offering technical support to construction delivery teams and proposing solutions.
• Leading the development and implementation of temporary works.
• Ensuring effective processes for the development of assurance documentation.
• Mentoring engineers, students, and graduates to promote professional development.
• Facilitating knowledge sharing across the business, particularly in design and engineering.
