Job description

Our client, a prestigious consultancy, is currently seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer for a contract role, working fully remotely. This role involves working on significant projects including vehicle crossovers, bus stop and taxi rank relocation for Residential and Commercial developments for TFL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing highway infrastructure projects in compliance with S278 and S38 agreements
• Developing engineering solutions for vehicle crossovers and bus stop relocations
• Producing detailed engineering drawings and plans using Civil 3D software
• Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
• Conducting site assessments and providing technical reports
• Ensuring all project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Managing project timelines and providing regular progress updates
• Applying technical expertise to support residential and commercial developments for TFL

Job Requirements:

• Experience in highway engineering
• Proficiency in Civil 3D software
• Understanding of S278 and S38 agreements
• Strong knowledge of highway design principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to produce detailed engineering drawings and technical reports
• Flexibility to work fully remotely and manage project timelines effectively
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering
