Job description
Bench/Lapping Operator
Salary Range: £28,500 - £29,500 (depending on experience)
Fixed Term Contract - 12 months.
Working Pattern: 40 hours Monday to Thursday - Nights
Job description
To Carry out Bench / Lapping Operations - Manual Deburring, Part Marking, Cleaning, packing of parts within New Production areas in accordance with OEM manuals and work instructions.

Support flexibility across the New Manufacturing areas, which, from time to time, may reasonably be required to meet the needs of Safran Helicopters UK Limited.

Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and working practice and take responsibility for implementing these.

Ensure good housekeeping standards are consistently maintained.

Manual Deburring activities supporting the flow of all components across the New Manufacturing section in accordance with OEM manuals and work instructions.

Cleaning activities supporting the flow of all components across the New Manufacturing section in accordance with OEM manuals and work instructions

Bag & label activities supporting the flow of all components across the New Manufacturing section in accordance with OEM manuals and work instructions.

Work in accordance with HSE legislation, the Company Operating Systems, policies and procedures.

Bench Operator (preferably Aerospace background)
