Location: Oakdale, Wales (hybrid working)

Duration: 6 month contract

Rate: £435 p/day LTD (Outside IR35)

Role:
Our client, a leader in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Software Asset Controller for a 6-month contract position in Oakdale. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to work within an innovative environment on critical projects that support national security and defence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive Software Asset Management (SAM) lifecycle services from acquisition to licence management
• Conducting commercial reviews and managing software procurements
• Supporting supplier contract management and negotiating commercial terms
• Handling software licence loans and agreements
• Acting as the main point of contact for software lifecycle management within the programme
• Supporting supply chain commercial requirements across the business units

Job Requirements:

• Experience in software asset management (SAM)
• Proficiency in software procurement and understanding End User Licence Agreements (EULA)
• Strong commercial terms and acumen
• Legal knowledge related to EULA is desirable
• Good understanding of procurement laws and regulations
• Proficient with IT systems and Microsoft packages, especially Excel
