Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Project Manager for Weapon systems testing to join their team in Farnborough.

Job description

This is a permanent role where you will play a pivotal part in national security and support the UK's Armed Forces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain positive engagement with project customers, partners, and suppliers
• Deliver project outputs to agreed baselines, including customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash, and sales
• Ensure project members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency management requirements
• Maintain forecasts for sales and delivery, reflecting up-to-date expectations for the work
• Apply governance requirements for foundation sales and delivery work

Job Requirements:

• Previous demonstrable experience in projects, programmes, portfolios, or P3 functions, successfully delivering complex projects
• Experience in delivering projects to external customers, with the ability to positively engage interested parties
• A background in the maritime or defence industry is preferred but not essential

Qualifications:

• APM qualified, or hold an equivalent recognised Project Management qualification
