Key Responsibilities:
- Lead from the Start: Be the technical focal point, guiding projects from sales handover to successful closure.
- Innovative System Design: Spearhead project initiation, including SIL classification, system design, and project planning.
- Hands-On Leadership: Oversee or run detailed design, including function block programming, and ensure the quality of work.
- Quality Assurance: Lead internal testing and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), ensuring every project meets the highest standards.
- Seamless Execution: Manage site installation, conduct Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and efficiently hand over systems, ensuring all documentation is complete.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Monitor project quality and formalise closures.
Your Expertise:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial automation sectors.
- Proficient in PLC programming, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Deep understanding of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and industry standards.
- Holding a TUV Functional Safety Certificate or equivalent knowledge.
- Minimum HNC qualification in engineering or a process-related subject.
- Practical knowledge of management systems like ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001, and ISO45001.
- Full UK driving licence.
