Our local authority client is currently seeking a Highway NEC Site Supervisor to supervise work on a Transforming Cities Fund Scheme.

Job description
The project focuses on urban transportation enhancements, including cycle tracks, pedestrian crossings, and bus lanes. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the development and success of significant highway projects in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the site works in compliance with NEC 4 option C contract
- Supervising intervention and development works such as cycle tracks, pedestrian crossings, and bus lanes
- Coordinating with contractors to ensure project milestones are met within the Gen 4 framework
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained on-site
- Managing project documentation and reporting progress to stakeholders
- Scheduling and supervising extended working shifts, including weekends and nightworks as required
- Facilitating effective communication between project teams and client representatives
Job Requirements:
- Experience in highway supervision and civil engineering projects
- Understanding of NEC contract management, particularly NEC 4 option C
- Proficiency in supervising urban transportation projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including extended shifts, weekends, and nightworks
- Valid driving licence and use of personal own car
- Ideally local to Poole/Bournemouth or willing to relocate
