Job description
Our client, a prominent player in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Site Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This exciting opportunity involves working on varied projects, with a focus on setting out, drainage, and FRC works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately setting out and surveying sites for construction projects
- Managing drainage and FRC (Formwork, Reinforcement, and Concrete) works on-site
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with project managers and site supervisors to ensure project milestones are met
- Maintaining records and documentation related to the site activities
- Conducting quality checks and implementing corrective measures where required
- Facilitating effective communication between various on-site teams and stakeholders
- Monitoring and reporting on the progress of construction activities
Job Requirements:
- Experience in site engineering, particularly in setting out, drainage, and FRC works
- Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in using surveying and setting-out equipment
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
