We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in electrical design, with proficiency in PLC and HMI systems, hardware design, and AutoCAD. Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in electrical design or related field.
- Proficiency in PLC (Allen Bradley or Siemens), and HMI systems.
- Strong skills in AutoCAD for electrical design.
- Basic knowledge of hardware design and electrical PLC components.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components.
- Work with PLC's (Allen Bradley or Siemens) and HMI systems to design, program, and troubleshoot.
- Create and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create and Modify I/O Schedules
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop hardware design solutions.
- Participate in project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems and components.
- Maintain accurate documentation of designs, modifications, and project progress.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and installation teams.
- Travel to client sites to carry out survey's, installations, commissioning, etc. both in the UK and abroad.
