Job description

Senior Civil 3D Technician - London - £45k to £50k

Our client, a high-profile Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy with a strong design focus and a dedicated Civils collective operating in the highways and infrastructure sector, are currently seeking a Senior Civil 3D Technician to join their dynamic team in London. This permanent role involves working on masterplan layouts, roads, and other critical infrastructure projects, with a minimum of three days a week in the office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of the most iconic projects in London. Previous projects include Royal Albert Hall, Covent Garden Market and queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. You will be joining as a Senior Technician and be responsible for the leadership of two technicians and at the same time working closely with a team of 6 engineers to produce the detailed highway designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilising Civil 3D software to develop detailed designs for highways and infrastructure projects
• Creating masterplan layouts and road designs to support various stages of project development
• Collaborating with engineers and other technicians to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery
• Providing technical support and expertise within the team
• Maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations
• Conducting regular reviews and updates to design plans as required
• Managing and organising project documentation and records

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in using Civil 3D software for highways and infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of masterplan layout and road design principles
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating closely with colleagues
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational abilities and a commitment to meeting deadlines
• Discipline-specific technical qualification or equivalent professional experience
