Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the pipeline system design and specifications meet project requirements as well as company and international standards. They will ensure the accuracy of the inputs for pipeline system cost and schedule estimates and ensure alignment with other disciplines including Process, Flow Assurance, Material & Corrosion, Operations, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical, Subsea, Construction, Installation and Commissioning.

They will participate in technical reviews when necessary, such as at the detailed engineering stage (Company Project reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, SIL etc.). They will also be required to participate as necessary, to various engineering workshops and reviews. They will develop calculations for the design of pipeline systems and compile relevant reports such as wall thickness, buckling, spanning and expansion.
