Job summary
We are seeking two strong candidates for the position of Coil Winder for our Aerospace client based in Titchfield,. Successful candidates will be allocated to either a late shift or a day shift based on their preference and our operational needs.

Job description
Working Hours:
Core Days (37 hours per week):
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:15pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 11:30am
Late Shift:
Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm - 11:45pm
Pay:
PAYE First 12 Weeks + Holiday Pay

- Core Days: £16.28 per hour
- Overtime: £24.41 per hour
- Sundays: £32.55 per hour
- Lates (20% Premium): £19.53 per hour
After 12 Weeks + Holiday Pay:

- Core Days: £16.77 per hour
- Overtime: £25.15 per hour
- Sundays: £33.54 per hour
- Lates (20% Premium): £20.12 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Operate or tend wire-coiling machines to wind wire coils used in components such as armatures.
- Cut, strip, and bend wire leads at ends of coils, using pliers and wire scrapers.
- Cut wire to length and wind in place, or count turns of wire in the coil being replaced and wind on the corresponding number.
- Attach, alter, and trim materials such as wire, insulation, and coils, using hand tools.
- Line slots with sheet insulation and insert coils into slots.
- Assemble metal or plastic parts or products.
- May test armatures, solder ends of coils to commutator segments, wind field coils, and perform other duties as required.
Required Skills:
- Dexterity: Perform delicate coil winding actions with precision and attention to detail.
- Hand Tools: Operate coil-winding machines and specified hand tools to wind coils efficiently.
- Brazing: Use brazing equipment to connect metal pieces together, utilizing various tools and equipment like torches, solder irons, and induction brazing equipment.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK, adhering to ITAR restrictions.
