Job description
A world leading aircraft equipment manufacturer are seeking a Senior Analysis Engineer to join their high performing engineering team. What are your key activities?
- Work Competently with FE Tools
- Utilizing Finite Element (FE) tools, such as ABAQUS, to perform detailed simulations and analyses.
- Ensuring accurate and efficient modelling to support engineering projects.
- Conducting classical static stress analysis to assess structural integrity under various loading conditions.
- Performing fatigue analysis to predict the life expectancy of components and assemblies.
- Participate in Product Validation
- Ensuring that products meet all design and performance criteria before market release.
- Identifying optimal analysis solutions to address specific engineering challenges.
- Recommending improvements or alternative methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy in analysis processes.
- Review Drawings, Designs, Concessions, and Repairs
- Examining technical drawings and designs to ensure they meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Reviewing concessions and repair plans to validate their feasibility and effectiveness.
You will interface with Chief Engineers, Programmes, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to facilitate decision-making and ensure seamless integration of analysis results. You will also communicate and coordinate with external suppliers, airframers, regulatory bodies, and other industrial organizations to ensure compliance and successful project execution.
Participating in audit reviews will be another key part of the role. You will present your own findings as required to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

What do you need to be successful?
* Good working knowledge of aerospace design & manufacturing processes. Landing gear experience would be advantageous.
* Experience of working with recognised FEA and fatigue software tools
* Experience of static and fatigue structural analysis methods
* Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings
* Experience working with aerospace materials engineering properties
* Experience of working in an IPT environment
Educational skills and experience
* Minimum of HNC/HND level, but ideally BSc/MSc, in an engineering discipline
