This role is pivotal within the Bodyshop (BIW) Manufacturing Engineering environment, focusing on research and development projects that transition from 'Concept Ready' to 'Implementation Ready' and integrate into standard Engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on new materials, vehicle lightweighting, and process enhancements
- Advancing digitization, complexity reduction, and exploitation of advanced vehicle features
- Exploring and implementing agnostic joining methods and energy-efficient techniques
