Job description

A London client is currently seeking a Design Team Manager to join their Highways and Transportation Planning (HTP) sector on a contract basis. This pivotal role involves overseeing the design team and ensuring the development and implementation of road safety and traffic management schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the design team to deliver road safety and traffic projects
• Developing and reviewing designs for traffic management schemes
• Ensuring road safety principles are incorporated into all designs
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery
• Maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
• Providing technical support and guidance to team members
• Preparing and presenting reports and proposals

Job Requirements:

• Experience in road safety and traffic management projects
• Strong understanding of HTP sector practices and standards
