Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a solid understanding of NRSWA regulations and inspection protocols to contribute to the effective management and maintenance of highways and public spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting site inspections to assess compliance with NRSWA regulations
• Identifying and reporting any non-compliance issues concerning street works and highway activities
• Liaising with contractors and utility companies to ensure all works are carried out to standard
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections and any resultant actions
• Providing technical advice and guidance on NRSWA compliance matters
• Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld at all times during inspections
• Collaborating with team members to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues
• Attending meetings and providing reports as required

Job Requirements:

• Experience in NRSWA inspections or a similar role
• Comprehensive knowledge of NRSWA regulations and compliance
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate inspection records
• Understanding of health and safety principles related to highway and public space works
