Job description

Our client, a specialist in the water sector, is currently seeking Site Managers with expertise in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering to join their team on a permanent basis. These roles are based at Yorkshire Water sites: Long Lane, Meltham or Clayton.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing site operations to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards
• Coordinating with Project Managers
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Managing subcontractors and resources to keep the project on schedule
• Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality
• Preparing and submitting site reports and updates
• Resolving any technical issues that arise during the project
• Liaising with both the client and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication

Job Requirements:

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering within the water sector
• Strong understanding of site management and construction processes
• Proficiency in managing health, safety, and environmental aspects on-site
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
